WOW. I’m actually dizzy from hurrying through the pages, this was so incredible I don’t even have words. I’ve loved many of Dawn O’Porter’s books but this might have been my favourite. Lost for words, gutted it’s over and I wish I could watch the documentaries on “don’t follow the herd”. Wowwwwww

A lovely book about womanhood, female friendships, grief and moving into adulthood. It really had a bit of everything and I’m so glad I read it.

This might have been the most suspenseful book I’ve read in a very long time, it’s well past midnight and anyone with a baby/ toddler knows that sleep is sacred so it means something when I say I just couldn’t put this book down. At times I’ve felt like I was right there with the characters, feeling their emotions, checking the room around me to make sure JD wouldn’t be standing behind me. I didn’t research this book beforehand and expected a good but rather unspectacular novel about motherhood but this had me clutching my child, racing through the pages. So gripping, so timely and exceptionally well written!

I'm not a huge romance reader but enjoyed the Netflix adaptation a lot. I read this collection quite quickly and enjoyed it for the most part. Some excerpts I’ve found to be rather flat and predictable but for the most part I enjoyed it. Especially the third part as it differed from the Netflix series!
