I really wanted to like this one more, but I felt that the characters, though their lives were complex, were very simple and it made them harder to related to. (We only know them for one day.) Maybe expecting their deaths made me less attached.

This book brought up a lot of important emotions: grief, the feeling of time slipping away, the feeling of never being enough. While Addie was such a a lovely character that showed a lot of strength, the real star of this book for me was Henry, who took his second chance at life and made something out of it, and honoring Addie in the process.
