It's obvious that this author has a single view of economics and is passing it off as the correct one.

The three or four times he's talked about unions it's always ina critical or  negative manner, for example.

He presents economics like it's a science free of value judgments and that's just wrong.

Good. But I felt anxious for large parts of it. If you read it you'll know why

Good light hearted read but I don't think there's any way you could have solved the mystery. The cast of characters also was too big. I couldn't remember who was who and the non Central characters weren't different enough from each other

The author overdid the prose with too much metaphor/similie. He could get through a paragraph without one.

across the book I found that I just didn't much like Wallace and didn't that much care what happened to him. The big revelations just seemed to come out of the blue and in a way which didn't elicit a strong emotional response for me.

Not a book I'm going to think much about now it's finished

Another challenging coming of age/first love tragedy. Done really well.
