This was a beautiful love story. Just chef kiss!! Their whole relationship just had me up in the air. I'm happy that ever thing played out the way it did. Xander never said the things that the 3rd guy did to him but I can put two and two together and figure it out. This man was so hurt thinking he did something to her that it allowed him to reject the only thing he really wanted in life. He let Roman slid in and make a family that Xander soon would have to protect.

4.5 I ate this book up in one day. Its your typically romance love story. From strangers to lovers. Nova was that girl, i just hated her insecurities which is something that we all have. But Guy was just what she needed. I didn't like that it took half of the book to get to the spicy part but when i did!!! She devoured him as she mfn should have. And yeah her and Jax relationship was the icing on the cake

4.5 This book was an emotional rollercoaster. Jada and her problems were a world wind, this girl had so much going on with her. It all started off with her mom. She went through hell after that. Born was her one true love. I was pissed when he cut her off like that. But when she got pregnant I knew all hell would break. She went down a log rocky road but made it out. That dang on baby daddy was pure evil. Her and Sunni with their stories and kids was chef kiss. I downloaded part 2 so fast.

I really enjoyed Sunni’s story! But she did that to herself! Poor Mercedes is all I can say. But that damn Sheldon is something else with his self. He really needs some professional help. I missed the part where Olivia and Ava became friends but I’ve never trust Ava since she had eyes for Born. But the ending!!!!! Sunni now you know BETTER!! Then for homeboy to just leave like that was top tier!! Cause who?!!!!

3.0 This book took me longer than expected. It was a cute little love story. I just wasn't feeling the storyline. I had a mix up with trying to follow the characters. Book just was all over the place to me.

This book starts off intense and heavy, and as it goes on, it only gets more heartbreaking. The love he had for his mom was profound, but his struggle with food addiction was even more overwhelming. It’s painful to read the words of a Black man sharing his suffering, making me think of the countless other Black men facing similar battles with no one to turn to.

This book was pretty decent, Addie made a move and was set on that move and feelings , that’s until her selfish ass son came back!! He really gave this 70 yrs lady no choice but to choose her family. Louis and Addie is just what each other needed.

I really can’t say too much about this book because I really don’t remember any good parts. This book was mainly about them rebuilding and gift giving. I was hoping it was more of Lucien and his mate. This book could have definitely been left out. I listen to the dramatized audio and was not fun of the characters being narrated than them actually acting on the audio.
