I couldn’t put this book down! And when I finished I just wanted more of this world and characters. A fast-paced plot that kept me on my toes and I can’t wait to start the next one. Divergent vibes except with Dragons, magic, and a dash spice.

If we are rating spice this book does it dark but also there’s tons of it to enjoy. 7/10 depending on your tastes. Quality of spice is a mixed bag as it’s very cat and mouse, hyperaware dumb girl and smart guy. The plot was unique but I wish there was more of it and I wish Z had more depth than what is initially presented. Overall not satisfied and maybe the sequel would fix some complaints but unsure if that’s possible.

I absolutely loved this series to pieces and this book was a fantastic conclusion for the series. My heart is all warm and fuzzy and the character arcs have made me fall back in love with literature.

WOW - The series took a turn in this book I wasn’t expecting and I loved the romance and enemies to lovers trope more in this novel then the last of the series. More clarity comes to life and it’s exciting as everything seems to fall into place. More plot and more spice in this novel since Psycho beasts which I was really happy with. My love for this author grows with each installment of this series.

I am so excited to see how her relationships interact together because I LOVE the romantic twins and I don’t know how much the dynamic of the kings and the twins plays out without someone dying. Fingers crossed I love the results but it’ll be an amazing journey to see what happens next in this crazy love pyramid (at this point) for Aran.

This wasn’t my favorite in the series but it was original and Jasmine Mas has a beautiful intricate writing style that I absolutely love. The reason for it not being my favorite is it ended up being more world building and I missed Sadie so much since we switch to Aran’s POV. It took me a while to get used to her and I don’t like when a character is constantly suffering as it’s not for me. I also didn’t warm up to the new characters very fast but the last 100 pages I got really into the direction we were heading for the next book. I can’t wait to see what’s next in this series!

An amazing continuation of the series with all the spice you will need but without compromising the story. The plot thickens in this book and the ending left me feeling great about the character development we’ve seen in these novels to this point. I never feel like I’m missing out because of the different perspectives we see from characters building them up and making every character likable. I loved it more than the last book which I didn’t even think was possible. 11/10 spice satisfaction guaranteed ❤️‍🔥

A satisfying ending, but easily foreshadowed. I’m disappointed that there is minimal spice. But I’m more disappointed that most of the book, two thirds. Is set up for the grand final twist. Not much happens until the last 40 pages. Just little clues. A very interesting read but a predictable genre with all the warnings of a super great twist posted on the novel. I enjoyed the read and the story building made me feel like I was there but I needed more likable characters to keep me going and everyone was very unlikeable.

This sequel gave me everything I didn’t know I needed. There were a lot of questions I had from the first book and I’m delighted by the complex plot and satisfying conclusion to this book. It sets up more for the rest of the series while also being true to the romantic and quirky parts in the first book. I love the character development through this book and can’t wait to see what happens next. A thrilling book with spice scattered throughout to balance the darker moments. Absolutely in love.
