i loved seeing all the kids from the previous series and seeing the call backs to the parents. crew and wren's love story meant a lot to willow and it made it all the more special.
literacy wise, the book wasn't anything special. the plot was shallow, the conflict was preventable and uninteresting, the characters had no development through the story. the only good things were the call backs to the original series and the romantic parts.
this is a good story if you want something light and quick to read and some cute romance, but not really interesting for anything else.
i did enjoy the book, i just wish there was more to it. there were so many parts that could have been expanded upon but weren't.

very well written. i enjoyed the commentary from Ada. her point of view makes the matter seem way more impactful and interesting. i enjoyed the mystery. i want to know what happens now. what trouble she could get into next? will ada and rian save earth together or will ada go rouge again?
i liked the flirting between ada and rian. the red herring was very clever. there are lots of funny banter moments that made me giggle.
can't wait for the next book in the series!!

not my favorite of the series. i like the sunshine trope of daisy.
there was no real conflict other than her dad didn't approve. the third-act breakup happened for stupid reasons. it was a cute story but it wasn't really interesting.
