This was really cute. Sometimes you need a little fluffy romance and this one was just right.
We got the amnesia troupe (not my favourite but it was okay), mild grumpy x sunshine, a little bit of spice, hidden identity, and hockey boy gamer girl. I love hockey romances so much.
I also wanted to point out the representation in this for mental health and women of colour was amazing, we had a POC main character that had anxiety and dyslexia. And can I say she was such a sweet character, she was so nice to everyone and she made everyone smile like I am IN LOVE with her.
My only thing that I wasn’t to keen on was the amnesia troupe, I did feel that it was a bit of a random one and wasn’t brought up as much. But besides that I loved the relationship Finn had with Naomi, they had such sweet moments that had my smiling at my kindle.
Definitely recommend this, if you love hockey romance and a gamer girl this is the one for you.

If Chloe Gong knows how to do one thing, it’s writing the best FMCs.
We have Calla, a princess hidden for 5 years after killing her parents.
Anton, deep in debt trying to keep his childhood love alive.
And August, a prince who wants the throne.
This had a deadly game where Calla the FMC and Anton one of the MMC form an alliance. They both are in the games for a different reasons. But will Calla choose her kingdom or love? Well I know but you need to read to find out.
This book was so fun, full of mystery, amazing characters, a little bit of romance, and an amazing plot. Also the magic in this was so cool. The Qi is where they can jump into another body essentially. I also love how it is inspired by 1990s Hong Kong’s Kowloon Walled City. From the cover you can really get a feel of the vibes from this book.
Also I am in love Anton. I’m in love with every man Chloe Gong writes though. I swear all the quotes I tabbed were his…like here’s one. “Was that a whimper? That’s the first time a princess has ever whimpered for me.” but obviously in the context I melted. This man owns me.
100% recommend it and book 2 needs to come sooner!

Beau Eaton everybody…HE IS A GOD.
Gotta admit, the beginning of this was a little slow for me but once we got to the midway mark I flew through it.
We got he falls first, the ‘Fuck It’ moment, found family, troubled family life/wrong side of the tracks girl, miltary hero with a tortured past and said hero is glorious. I knew that Beau was going to be one of my favourite Eaton men from the start. He was so perfect and him with Bailey was perfection.
A lot of fluffy moments, a few spicy moments, and a bit of drama. Who doesn’t love it seriously?
I am so sad that the Chestnut Springs series is over. I am absolutely in love with the series and would 100% recommend and may also fall in love with a cowboy if I got the chance.

I DIDN’T REALISE THIS WASN’T A STANDALONE. I got cliffhanged!!
okay moving on from that, I loved the ending of this book. The last 150 pages were so fun and were filled so much mystery and suspense. The start of the book was a bit iffy for me and it took me a long time to read it but once I got to the halfway mark or so…I zoomed through.
These characters were so fun. The Villain (though we didn’t really see too much villainy stuff) was so good. Evangelina was hilarious, a massive clutz, and an amazing assistant it would seem. Put the two characters together in a fantasy romance with a bit of comedy and mystery? perfect.
I do believe that Kingsley was my favourite part though. That frog has my heart.
I am intrigued by the ending and am looking forward to what’s next…I think it’s gonna be good.

This was soooo fun. I absolutely love revenge plots and this one has MFM spice so…perfection.
I wish this was a full length novel but I will settle for a novella. I also really liked the whole Dead Devils Night being like the purge where crime is legal for that night.
The start of this was so sad and you really get hit with it from the start but of course we get a sinister happy ending and lots of revenge.
Ry gives off Lana Myers vibes from The Mindf*ck series which I love. So if you’re a fan of that series and need a quick read this is definitely it!

Stop, I’m literally SOBBING because this series is finished. I love these characters with my whole heart.
Okay, I need some composure for this.
This was…just a fairytale. We have villains and a girl who is trying to get her happily ever after.
This was my most anticipated read of the year and I’m so happy to say that I am actually so so happy. This had me giggling and kicking my feet from just the romance in this. I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect in this, Stephanie Garber made me nervous from all her interviews.
The plot was intense, there was a lot going on. We finally got a Jacks POV…SUBLIME. And Apollo…anyway. Jacks is 100% one of my top book boyfriends. I love him so much.
This series is such an easy read. We get whimsical, mystery, and romance with the villain…I mean it’s perfect really. Also, if you have read the Caraval series before this, you see so much character progression from Jacks. I feel in Caraval we saw him as a Fate and in this we see him with more human feelings.
I don’t want to say anything that could spoil the book since this came out yesterday. Just know that happily ever afters are very true. Prepare your heart. And live, love, Jacks the Prince of Hearts.

I’m just gonna go past the corn…and try and review this.
So, a psycho guy becomes obsessed with a girl he saw at a coffee shop. And when I say psycho I mean it.
He is instantly obsessed over her. For a novella, so much happened and my heads kinda spinning.
I mean it was a quick read and spicy asf and insane. But I did kinda get the ick…
I can’t be too mad though, aside from the corn. But also, it had a cliffhanger. I don’t know if there is going to be more to it…but I think I’m done here.

Such an easy and fun read, amazing novella. Like we got a girl who is Miss Perfect who has a wild night with a man from a carnival. I’m sure you can expect how that goes. Did I mention kinky? cause I should have.

I picked this book up after seeing it so many times on tiktok and honestly I found it kind of average.
Don’t get me wrong, it was interesting and I loved the characters. I just felt that it was kind of predictable and…had a lot of staring between the main characters…weird thing to notice but okay.
I feel that the hype kinda made me expect something more but also made me a bit disappointed when reading it.
I will be continuing on with the series later as this isn’t a standalone and I am curious to see what happens next.
