A classic camp-slasher horror book? Sign me up!
I love this modern spin on a classic slasher. Cancel Culture meets Jason if you will.
Willow had some great character development among the chaos. I did tear up at a specific part and it ℎ𝑢𝑟𝑡.
In such a short time you are already in a mind fuck with the rest of the campers.
A few twists thrown in had me open mouthed, gaping like a fish out of water.
You will think you know… but I bet you don’t.
This is just what I needed to jump start my horror reading vibes for the next couple of months!
Super fun horror read, Makes me want to watch Friday The 13th again!

Loved this book so so much! As a mom I related to Lauren in the best of ways! There were situations that made me laugh, roll my eyes and laugh. It gave me all the emotions and more.

Cute story!!
Sam meets her new neighbor Asher in the worst way yet it becomes the best way. They move pretty fast but it’s seriously adorable. The gaming scene was just,👌🏻 and I loved the happiness between the two. She really hadn’t dated in awhile and he wasn’t the dating type and things just automatically clicked with the chemistry they had with one another.
They had a few great spicy scenes between them. The steam came off the 𝑝𝑎𝑔𝑒𝑒𝑒𝑒.
I will be reading the next book asap.

I loved this story so much!
I devoured this within a few days!
Lowe seemed quiet, patient, and more reserved with a passion for his packs well-being, his sisters safety and a fun personality. Mixing this with Misery’s fiery sass, an attitude to match and a big heart, gives fun banter and an entertaining twist of events.
The way Misery interacts with those who didn’t like her, was just great. Misery and Ana, (Lowe’s little sister), have such a vibe, I laughed almost every time they had an interaction.
This was such a fun read! I thoroughly enjoyed the adventure I was taken on.♡︎

This was like a twisted love story?
I kind of loved that about this book. I was expecting some crazy thriller like Freida McFadden usually gives us… yet i was pleasantly surprised by the way this story came out.

COULD NOT STOP LISTENING TO THIS. I finished this in one day. I immediately got book 2!

ꨄDon’t get me wrong, I love romance intertwined with fantasy books but I absolutely respected and clapped over the fact that there wasn’t. Things would’ve been moving way too fast for the main character if there were romantic feelings in this.

ꨄThe World building was simple and easy to follow. The details that were given were enough for my imagination to run with.
The plot was easy to follow as well. I liked that this was easy to go with and not over-complicated.
The only thing I didn’t like, was the miscommunication between the FMC and the MMC. I understand they are “enemies” but give each other SOMETHING? I wanted to shake sense into the both of them at some points.

Loved the story, love where it’s leading us! I can’t wait to start book 2!
