I thoroughly enjoyed almost everything about this book. However, I felt like something was missing once I finished it. I loved the relationship between Riden and Alosa, and I admired everything about her character. She is such a fierce woman who knows what she wants and how to achieve it. The quest for the third part of the map proved to be more challenging than anticipated, complete with many twists and turns. Additionally, her bond with the rest of her crew is truly heartwarming—it's great to see women supporting women. I highly recommend this book and give it 4.5 stars.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I had wanted to read it for a long time because I’m a fan of the series, and knowing it was based on a book made it a must-read for me. I appreciated the introduction to characters I already loved, including the RADs and normies, as well as the relationship between Melody and Candance—it was refreshing. I’m giving it a rating of 4.5 stars. While it brought back nostalgic feelings, I wouldn’t consider it the best of the best. However, I highly recommend it!

"...some people are nice and some people are kind. [...] Niceness is all about what we do when other people are looking. Kindness, on the other hand, runs deep. Kindness is what happens when no one's looking."

+300 pages of pure heartwarming stories of found family, quirky romance, and magical adventure. You can summarize this as a lighthearted and uplifting tale about everything that is right in this world. Totally recommended.

It was hard for me to get into this book. However, once I got the pace, it was easy to follow. The first book is divided into four parts, and every time a part starts, we get a recap of what happened previously. I understand recaps are important, but they are between books—not the same book. Still, the story is interesting enough, the plot is well-thought, and I like how Lydia grows throughout the different situations she experiences. I will continue with the series.

Is there any other acceptable rating than 5 starts for Bill? I loved the dimensional trip. Bill does not possess my soul and is not my intention to shake his hand.

I started this book with a general idea of what it was about, but I never expected it to grab me the way it did. I missed the need to stay away to finish a chapter. This book is so good it's hard to put it down when you start. I enjoyed pretty much everything about this book. However, there were a couple of chapters almost at the end that I couldn't stand so I tried to skim through them since it didn't make sense, but when I got to the "why"... Wow. It did make sense. That's what made me give it 5 stars. I kinda guessed who did it though it wasn't exactly as I assumed. Really well written. I read the 2019 edition and I enjoyed it a lot. I can't wait to continue with the series. Highly recommend for this spooky season. Or any season to be honest. Do yourself a favor and give this book a try.

Never in a thousand years did I imagine the Chernobyl incident goes as deep as shown in this book. We all know that something happened in Chernobyl, and the general effect in the world, but I didn't know how deep it went in how it affected the citizens plus everyone involved in the cleaning process and the future building of the Sarcophagus. My eyes have been opened and I can't recommend this book more. The way it narrates everything from the very beginning gives us a chronological development of everything that happened. There were a lot of names but it's still relatively easy to follow. This is a book you need to devote to in under to fully grasp what it is trying to share. Absolutely surprising. Do yourself a favor and read this book.

What a beautiful book and what a beautiful ending. Such a great relationship between mother and daughter and how it matures through time. A little tense at times but totally recommended. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna call my mom...
