The book was ok. I listened to the audiobook and found the nasal voice a little grating at first but I eventually became used to it. I found the connection between the FMC and MMC lacking. It seemed like right place, right time and boom they’re in love.

It took me a while to get used to the writing style and the language the the author chose for the teenagers. Language that young people would not use, especially back in the 70s/80s. Once I moved passed it I was engrossed in the story.

This book won’t be for everyone but I really enjoyed it.
