Misconceptions of Forgiveness by Celice Maree
Did not finish book. Stopped at 30%.

This was a powerful story, but it needed substantially more editing. Typos were missed, the pacing and structure were confusing and repetitive, and I really wished for more of a focus on how the author survived, how she built up her strength, how she became the phoenix at the end of the story when so many women struggle. I did skim through the rest of the book and read the final few chapters and the reflections which was both inspiring and heartbreaking. I'd caution readers for heavy trigger warnings, and an ongoing view that "unconditional forgiveness" and "unlimited love" are positive parts of a relationship. This is a very personal and raw book, I hope the author found healing in writing her story.
