I can't pinpoint anything wrong with this book at all, but it just wasn't as good as book 1. I didn't find myself reaching for it throughout the day absolutely needing to keep reading it. The writing was great, the wrap up to the story was perfect for the plot. Solid ending to the duology.

A perfect feel-good, quick comfort romance. With explicit spice.

I really loved this. The story carried the plot from beginning to end, the dialogue was believable and authentic, the twists were great and not blaringly obvious. The sass from the FMC wasn't over the top and rude, Saeris is just the right about of back talk and independent while also being empathetic and knowing when not to say something. The banter between characters was great. The world building wasn't dense and it was explained pretty well. Excited for the sequel!!

It's so, so bad. The purpose of the story is gone. I feel like the writers are obsessed with Tory and are really just trying to keep up with story lines of all of the other millions of characters in here that they created just to make the novels continue, while making Tory the main heroine.

It's literally just young adult sex on crack, with idiotic humor and juvenile dialogue. I googled the last two books, there is zero way I'd put up with reading books 8 and 9.
