Between Love and Loathing by Shain Rose

I loved the FMC with a disease. Overall I enjoyed the story i just wish the author or editor would have done another comb over of the writing. I know its hard to catch every mistake, but their were quiet a few.

for instance, at one point they are on the phone with his ex and doing the deed, well the phone is never mentioned again. Did the ex hang up? Also the ex is never mentioned after that, did she give up? Like what happened. Another time was in the restaurant it says he picks her up and puts her on the counter, but a few lines later he is spinning her around to bend her over it? Maybe I missed something. There are more but I won't list them all.

The beginning of this book was good, the middle was so slow that I put it down, finished two other books before picking it back up, but when I finally picked it back up. Wow! And the ending has me actually wanting to read the next one.

I wanted to love this book but honestly I was bored. 
There were good points, I loved Lane and loved the two of them. Thank you Author for making periods normal! That was my favorite part of the whole book. 


Repeat after me if we write a sport we either know alot already or do research
 On page 81 he is holding an aluminum bat but when the sound is explained it says wood. Both those bats make different noises. Also a pitcher doesn't normally practice batting at practice they practice pitching...., and finally 40 100+ mph throws is alot for an arm to handle. 

I tried so hard, I wanted to love it but halfway through i found myself skimming and wishing I was done. 

Good Elf Gone Wrong by Alina Jacobs

I just finished over 500 pages in less than 12 hours. This book was hilarious, spicy and had all the Christmas feels. 
Hudson is my new fav book guy.
And grandma Murray was really the shining star of this whole book 🤣

I would have given it 5 stars, but there was quiet a few spelling errors, times when things were being repeated and alot of the spicy scenes were like I was watching porn, very cringe words and very fake feeling. 

Peasants and Kings by Emma Slate
Did not finish book. Stopped at 29%.

This book just did not keep my interest. I tried several times, but I put it down and just haven't picked it up. In fact I forgot I was even reading it. 

Foul Lady Fortune by Chloe Gong

I enjoyed this book. I did find the 3rd person with several different points of view kind of confusing and I had guessed the ending pretty early on, but all in all an enjoyable read.

Say You Swear by Meagan Brandy
Did not finish book. Stopped at 23%.

I can't read another second of this book. I know that sounds harsh but its true. 
First of all I thought it was a sports romance and was sorely disappointed when I started reading and found Its the summer I turned pretty with slight (very slight) differences. 

 if you are writing out a text conversation it is fine to use text lingo. If you are writing 2 characters talking it shouldn't be in text lingo. 
Also anytime someone uses the word Legal to explain characters turning 18 gives me the ick. 

<Spoilers> what was with the pregnant girl? I feel that had nothing to do with the rest of the story at all. 
Arianna and Cameron are literally carbon copies of Belly and Taylor from the summer I turned pretty, the way Cameron talked and was in love with the brother, plus how Arianna thought Cameron was so much prettier than her. 

The main character contradicted herself alot. She read into things with chase way too much and then proceeded to say she didn't like reading into stuff and then turns around and reads into things again. 

All in all this book made me irrationally angry as you can see so I'm quitting lol
