I somehow expected the book to focus more on the relationship between Ash and Edi instead it seems to mainly just focus Ash.. and well I was extremely annoyed by her character.. even her one daughter Elle bothered me who didn't seemed like a teenager at all and in addition to that she seemed like a stereotypical queen person from the point of view of an oh so woke middle aged women (Ash).. let's just say I didn't like the book and I'm happy to have managed to finish it after I thought I never will.. :/
Hopefully the next book will take me out of the slump this one has put me in..
