Engaging premise, but the main character was so whiny that I had to put the book down and come back to it later a few times. The sex scenes were also odd to me, but maybe that was the point. I love how Roza was written, and how the things we learned about other characters didn’t make them inherently trustworthy. Overall, a quick and engaging read that I don’t think will stay in my memory for long.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 45%.
Too many references that I didn’t know and were hard to google - I loved “flowers,” so I’ll have to try to come back at some point.

Read this in high school, and after reading it again ten years later, I feel like I’ve never read it before.
