Freida never fails to keep you guessing, have you scratching your head about what on earth is going on. Ward D certainly did not fail in that aspect. The setting *chef's kiss* my original theory was a little off but as the story came to a close it was not that far removed from what I thought. If you love a good thriller, this is certainly a book you should read. Perfect for spooky season!

I was fortunate to receive this book as an ARC. I have read the other books in the L.O.R.D.S "series" To say that this genre has been a journey for me is an understatement reading Shantel's books I have had my world opened up to a lot of things that I did not know before and probably still at some points should have remained oblivious to knowing. I have been reading these books along with a friend of mine and to have somebody to bounce the journey off each couple off has been really fun.

In terms of Carnage itself. I really did like this book. I enjoyed the look inside the deeper darker parts of the L.O.R.D.S that only had been eluded to in the other books. I will say the FMC is okay in my eyes compared to others that they have introduced us to. As far as Saint, I am rather intrigued to learn more through the eyes of his brothers.

I gave Carnage a 4/5 stars.
I gave Carnage a 5/5 for spice.

I am really looking forward to seeing where the next books take us and getting to go deeper and deeper into the world that is Carnage.
