The Wingman by Stephanie Archer

I saw that the eARC had been released for me and immediately my plans shifted to make sure I had ample time to finish the book. Clearly not a problem as I finished it in a day.

Stephanie Archer does it every time. I do not know how. I have been waiting for Hayden’s time to get the love he deserves and I am so so happy that I got to read it. And it’s so sweet and tender and gently loving. And yet the spice is so spicy.

In concept, it really reminded me of Wyatt and Hannah with the whole ‘teach me how to xyz’ and I did not realize that I needed more and yet…it seems I did. Absolutely devoured it.

I am not sure if it is because I just read other hockey romances or if it’s because I inhaled this book so quickly but I did not necessarily have a very strong image of them in my mind so I am not sure how memorable this book will be for me but would definitely not be surprised if I remember that it was good and then get to reread it like it is new.

Only thing I kept coming back to was I wish I could understand how Kit and Hayden became best friends? I felt like I only saw the end and obviously i’m TeamDarcy but I wish I had a bit more of that background.

Thank you so much to Stephanie Archer and her team for the eARC of this book in exchange for my honest review

idk when this was written but definitely no need for the use of the r slur. cant say i cared about literally anything that was happening.

there was simultaneously less happening than i expected and more

i did not appreciate anything about this book other than the cover.
