A sweet and cozy read with a dash of danger and spicy moments hot enough to melt snow! The MCs were loveable and had me rooting for them to get together from their meet cute. Their love story taking place against the backdrop of Norway's snowy beauty made for great atmosphere. The world building was well done, making me wish to be whisked away by a troll! The creative use of a camera by the MCs had me fanning myself. A great start to a new series that will have be coming back for more!

The thrilling story of a violinist who gets whisked away through a portal from the 1930s into 2021, where agents with superhuman abilities are fighting an uneven battle against an evil only the Savior stands a chance at defeating. They think she is that Savior, but is she really? It was exciting for me to join the FMC on her emotional journey filled with adventure, twists and turns, and love. The MCs' relationship was beautifully developed, with the jumps between events in the 1930s and 2021 adding extra mystery as to what happened in the past. Their schmexy scenes were pure fire! The ending left me gaping and in need of the next book. What a story 👏

This was my first book by this author, and I will be coming back for more because I loved it! The great world-building pulls you into the story of magic and monsters from the get-go and makes you want to stay at the end of the book. The main characters are endearing individually, and watching them gradually give in to their feelings for each other is fun. When they get together, it's scorching hot! The humor throughout the story was so good. Last but not least, the pet cat is adorable! I am excited to see the rest of the secondary characters fall in love, so off I go to read the first book in the series!

An action-packed, tension-filled, and passion-rich ending to the story of Nina and her two alien gladiators! This book had me in an even stronger chokehold than the first: it was so unpredictable, and dangers were coming from left and right, and there were many plot twists. There was also humor to ease the tension, with Reke stealing the show with his way with words 😁 The spicy scenes were spicing 😏 Another great series by this author!

This is my second book by this author, and I fell so in love with her writing before that I decided to read a contemporary romance for the first time in a looong while. The result? I'm even more in love with Verot's chef's kiss of a writing style! The way she writes pulls you right in and you feel like one of the characters, as if you're right there in the scene experiencing the pining, the passion, the friendship, everything! The slow burn was delicious; I enjoy seeing how a relationship grows, and here it was developed so well, and with funny moments that had me giggling. The steamy moments were so passionate and engaging. Just the way the MMC talked and took charge had me swooning. The setting - a cafe in London, a cozy house near the city, and snow for the holidays - was charming and had me wishing for a blanket and a fireplace despite the t-shirt weather outside while I was reading :D So strong is the magic that this author weaves with her writing! I will be coming back for more 😁

Cozy, sweet, and steamy monster romance that feels like a warm hug! Warning: be ready to crave sweets as you read 😜 I enjoyed the heroine's love for her own body, the nerdy hero, the found-family vibe, and the secondary characters.  Can't wait to read their own stories!

Top-notch sci-fi romance! This series is so addictive; once you go alien cowboy, you won't be able to get enough! The MCs were so cute. Reading their story had we awww-ing and giggling and signing wistfully over my e-reader. The MMC being inexperienced made for some amazing fiery scenes. There was also a pet in the story, so this sucker for alien pets was ecstatic :D Now, excuse me as I go apply for an alien cowboy bride!

What a cute and cozy read! It was fun to watch sparks - and dough - fly when a grumpy and bossy human let a sunshiny cinnamon roll of an alien into her bakery. I liked how each of the characters had something from their past to overcome; none of them were perfect. Although, I developed a crush on Jorokk from the very start :D The attempts of the MCs to resist the attraction between them had me giggling, and when they finally gave in... Mmm. The side characters were intriguing, and I'm curious to see who will find love next!

An entertaining read with an alien bodyguard who has a way with words (*swoon) and a FMC who has a demanding job and grown-up children. That gave a refreshing dynamic to the characters' relations (compared to what I've read lately). I got this book for SYKD and didn't know what to expect as the author was new to me; now I know I'll be reading more by Lara Roth!

This was my first Mothman romance, and I loved it! Each book in this series leaves me wanting the MMC for my husband, and Atlas is no exception :D The world-building was top-notch, making everything so realistic I'm convinced the Prometheans are truly somewhere out there. The scientific mystery that the characters had to solve was a great twist; it kept me on the edge of my bus seat throughout my intercity trip and had me nearly missing my stop xD The intimate scenes were imaginative and with a great dynamic between the MCs. In short, I can't wait to get married again! I mean, I can't wait for book 12 ;)
