The Woman in the Window by A.J. Finn

6 out of 5 stars.
Goodness graciousness, I love this book sooooo much. For starters as a major alfred hitchcock fan (and lover of old movie) can we just appreciate the endless references. For probably my first major non-YA book, I was amazed by how beautifully it was written, and how well the storyline played out. In the first half of the book I loved how it gradually feed you information on the backstory and what-not, as it helped to set up the plot and still really kept you interested. Although you were aware of her phobia, drinking and constant use of meds - as it began to suggest her being crazy or mentally ill - you didn't really believe it. I mean until you found out about her husband and daughter - MY HEART BROKE INTO SO MANY PIECES - I seriously cried more than i ever have for a book before. Then, you sadly had retired to the fact that it was her imagintion influencing her perspective... UNTIL other things started to add up - and you began to rerealise that there really was something more to this. BUT WHEN YOU FOUND OUT IT WAS ETHAN - MY HEART, COULD NOT DEAL WITH THIS. Overall, it was by far one of the best books I have ever read, as well as thrilling to the bitter end - while making you second guess yourself time and time again. Thats not all! The plot twists were so unexpected and frankly just genius.
I would recommend this anyday - just be ready to be gripped and emotionally unstable for a few days.
I just love, love, loved it tbh!

Your Turn to Die by Sue Wallman

Really liked it, have read better - honestly liked that it was still pretty chill at parts. Although, for a small YA book it was pretty damn good. Lots of twists and turns, most of them I kinda saw coming - BUT THE ENDING WAS TOTALLY UNEXPECTED! Really great plot twist tbh.
Would totally recommend though.
