Marking this book as read because it fucking repeats half way through with an alternate POV??? Who asked for this midnight sun ass bullshit?? NOT ME

it was genuinely funny but I don’t need the same story told 3 three ways. I’d call 2003 Stephanie Meyer if that was in my repertoire

Would have rated this so much higher if it just ended on a cliff hanger

This one of the worst books I’ve ever read.

First and foremost, the mmc keep the entire plot of the book a secret from the FMC for no reason?

In the third act we find out he’s been hiding his super powerful shadow daddy powers and just like….not used them against the soldiers sacking the city for what??

There are so many times I said to myself “this doesn’t make sense” that it’s a miracle I finished

And oh, the FMC because a battle rated general in like three weeks and is a better fighter than the 200 year old shadow fae lord kind secret keeping king man.
