I finished this book less than 24 hours after I got it. It was addicting and I loved the whole premise of the book. By the end, I was sad that it was finishing. Leo's character was complex and I love that we got to see so many sides to him and his life through the time loop. This book didn't blow my mind so it's a 4.25 ⭐ for me.

I read this book in a slump and it took quite a bit of time to get into it(like a month). I liked the back and forth that Elias went through when deciding whether he saw himself as good or bad because in reality his character was complex and it wasn't as simple. I love how strong Laia was in terms of the fact that she, unlike in many other books, did not lose focus on trying to save her brother and based nearly every decision, all while risking her life, to help break her brother out. It wasn't a mind-blowing book worth five starts but the ending was very good in terms of pacing and I will be picking up the next book soon.

Cresswell
Thomas. Cresswell.
At the start of this book I thought maybe this book just wasn't for me and nearly halfway through I was fully convinced that it was Audrey's father who had committed the vile crimes. Am I emotional or was the ending deeply saddening. I'm just happy Audrey has Thomas to support her and also the character change of Audrey's father is moving, while he may have seemed like a villain at the start and really all the way till the last few chapters, he was just a broken, grieving father with a son who betrayed him. At the start of the book, I didn't like Thomas. Thought he was just egoistic and I thought he didn't support Audrey fully in her choice of doing forensic science but he was truly supporting her all the way and now they get to go to Romania together to study forensic science!!! Anyways, can't wait for the second book, truly a 5⭐ book!!!
