I didn’t mean to read this book so quickly but i just couldn’t stop and that ending… i did not expect this book to go in this direction at all

 I already knew this was gonna end badly cuz it is a villain origin story, still i didn’t expect it😭
I could not imagine her as an evil person,i thought there would somehow still be an happy ending but ofcourse not.
 One think that annoyed me she could have just left Mary Anne BEHINDD, i really didn’t like her she was a traitor, and yet Cath gave up her whole future just for her. It could’ve all been prevented SO EASILY, which makes it all so much worse 

“murderer, martyr, monarch, mad” 

I’m so sad no one got a happy ending i just wanted everyone to be happy, i was so scared when i saw the drawings and i’m SO sad they all came true😭😭 l

“How different everything could have been, if you had thought to ask me that before.”

No cuz actually, why were they being so nice and considerate after it was already way too late this is gonna haunt me forever 

Anyways i did really like the writing and pacing of the book, i don’t think this book would be for everyone but i really connected with the characters, still i wish some things could’ve been different, but i do think like this with every book and i didn’t really seem annoyed with the writing, story or characters that much, i also was never bored or waiting for the story to be finished so i give this 5⭐️

(3.5) The concept of this book is so nice, i loved the reddit chats, i really loved the urban legends they would show u and i found the game very interesting, but i wish the book could have gone in a different direction, i really did like the ending tho, it gave me goosebumps, it gets an additional 0.5 for that. And also i loved the atmosfere of this book, but overall i don’t think i will ever think about this book again and it didn’t creep me out as much as i thought it would
