You know, this was a solid cozy read. First of all, the cover is beautiful, and Secondly the map!
This story in a whole was very fun, granted very slow at time, but extremely mysterious and fun nonetheless.
Having practically the whole book mtake place in a train that goes across magical territory was so fun, and I was easily swept into the story.
All and all, my only complaint is how slow it got at points, but overall, a 5/5 for me

I cannot deal with whiney characters.
At it's core, this boom is about two folks who keep complaining about their lives while continuing to make stupid decisions and blaming their "youthful ignorance" and I could not get into it.
I pretty much skimmed the whole second half, I just wish there was more character development, or that they actually took responsibility once in a while.
Of course this is just my opinion, but all and all, I was not a fan

I liked this book. I wish the pacing was a little faster but that's about my only complaint. It was definitely really slow going near the middle, but it picked up good

I didn't hate this book, there was definitely something missing, but overall I enjoyed this as a fun pirate story, and interesting history facts

Solid 4 stars. I quite enjoyed the read, I think it was really fun learning more about the kind Arthur order as according to the respective books lore, and learning more about their abilities.
The only reason I gave it four instead of three was it was certainly slow at points, a tad repetitive, and I wasn't in love with some of the side characters. All that aside, mostly nitpicky stuff, I really enjoyed this book, and will read book two soon

I simply have no words. (That's a lie, I have so many words)
THIS STINKING BOOK!
I CANNOT!
So this book is about a girl who takes her friends manuscript after the friend dies, which in of itself is messed up enough before you even add the fact that she is a white woman and the manuscript was wrote by an Asian woman about Asian people in WW|. So this book tackles many heavy topics with publishing, racism, sexism and many more.
I deeply enjoyed this read and highly recommend to anyone interested in the industry, or just the heavy topics dealt with in an open ended way where the reader can decide for themselves who is really in the wrong in general.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 44%.
I wish I had a better explanation for DNF ing, the plot was great, the main characters were likeable enough, but I just loft the drive to actually continue and it started feeling like a chore, so I'll get back to this one in time, but right now is not that time

I personally liked Alessandra better, so reading this book wasn't as fun as Shadows Between Us. That being said, I didn't hate this book, I just also didn't love it if that makes sense.
