I wasn’t really enticed into the story, though I could’ve forced myself to finish it. I was not enjoying it, and it annoyed me a little, though it did make me laugh-out-loud twice.

Love the prose and the way it was written. This book really lets your imagination work and place images in your head. The words are carefully and beautifully chosen. I enjoyed this.

This deluxe version is quite beautiful, and inserts three volumes into one omnibus. I enjoyed every page! I have watched the anime and it is verbatim nearly, there are a few extra scenes and dialogue not included which is nice to read. Great story and love the journey! I love the Norse era with their English friends, and the Franks snooping around.
