This book is about a gal who’s cleaning out her mom’s house. She eats a wormie from her fridge and swaps bodies with someone in another reality.

Where did this wormie come from? NO ONE KNOWS.

She eventually finds out her mom used a wormie to go to another reality before she died. All of the sudden there’s a magic box that can make someone not switchback to their reality when the wormie wears off? Doesn’t make sense? Join the club

This book is also incredibly slow and full of slang REEKING of the author trying to sound hip and cool

Rating: Pfffbt 👎

I started 2024 with this book and wish I could start 2024 over.

Rick Hunter is back and ready to brawl. This time there’s no cool tournament and really a big lack of fighting. He does get with and break up with a girl so some romance was nice. Overall, the first one was better. Granny slaps as a character though, love her

Kung Fu is money!

This is a very fun book about a boy beating people up in a dystopian cyberpunk world minus the sci fi aspect. The names are super lame like Cmon Rick Hunter???

Overall the action is good, verbiage is easy making this a fun read, and the characters are loveable but shallow.

I listened to this on audiobook btw.

This book’s concept is interesting. Ghost Hunters but they find real ghosts in their last episode and it’s presented like a found footage film. The audiobook does a good job narrating things but oh man is this slow. The author drones on and on about these characters but they all are SO BORING.

The ghost mystery doesn’t make much sense either. A time rift? Wtf

Big book but good book. Language is magic and colonialism is evil. Extremely good
