While I don't think I would have liked it any better if I read it physically, I would recommend against the audiobook for this one. The narrator has a very pleasant natural voice, but her American accents were very distracting.
As far as the book contents, it isn't the best thriller I've ever read, but it wasn't the worst. I kept waiting for the pace or urgency to ramp up, but it never really did for me. I also think the story overall was pretty obvious and straightforward? I was expecting it to have more involved puzzles.

I have been having a hard time with YA recently, especially with queer stories, and had thought I finally reached that age where I had "grown out" of it. This book made me remember the feeling of loving YA again.

Finally something has overtaken Lock Every Door for my favorite Sager book. I've been waiting patiently for this to happen!
