Nahhhh I'm not a classic books person and school still forces us to read books like this...

It wasn't the worst, but it differently wasn't the best.

Skaudu. Tikrai labai skaudu...

Lietuviška ir Angliška apžvalga
 Lithuanian and English review
 5⭐

🌙English:
After reading it, I had to sit in silence, with my thoughts. And there were a lot of them after this book, especially when trying to answer the last question of the book, "Did you love enough?"

This book makes you think more than all the books I have read. Each chapter captured my attention again and again and it wasn't impossible to put this book down. I wanted to know more, I wanted this story like air.

The writing itself is magnificent:
 Easy, human storytelling.
The beauty of life and, conversely, the horror are revealed. Many losses and discoveries. Lots of love and even more suffering for it. Family traumas are passed down from generation to generation and eventually healed.
A book to make you think about grandparents or parents, how little of their lives do we know? We, the children or grandchildren, are only a small part of their already long lives. How good it would be if our parents or grandparents wrote such letters as the protagonist, because it would be so much easier, and our attitude towards them would change.

I have always said that a book is good when it makes you feel, and this book did that from the very beginning. Painful experiences and losses, shaken and affected again and again. Beautiful moments that moved the heart, and the last words spoken before death, which were both comforting and incredibly sad, were expressed with a smile through tears.

This book definitely gets a 5/5⭐ because it affected me so deeply.

 ❇I can't give 10⭐, so I give 5⭐
✴This book is my new favorite and I'm obsessed with her, absolutely in love!

✴The dark academia vibe, this book is giving me is now one of my favorites, and I didn't even know I will like it that much, that I need it that much!

❣The characters were interesting and had something in them, that I got addicted to from a few chapters:

❣Corvina is such a strong character and we can see her character development! Also, she is interested in all her witchy things and these voices in her head! It was so interesting to read and  I don't know if she saw shadows, heard voices, or all this was her imagination, and these things never happened.
I just wanted Corvina to not give up that easily to Vad, she could torture him with waiting sometimes or something, but she was like a doll in some situations... But it wasn't a big deal, just that we could see his other side.

❣Vad. Damn Vad...He is that character that you don't know trust him or not, and I figured him out just in the end when the story ended... He is such a secret, hot, interesting character... Damn... Also, we can see that he is cold in the beginning, but then he finds himself falling in love, and he changes... In other words character development.

⚜The story is interesting and I didn't read anything similar. It was interesting to read about murders and wonder why they happen and what is responsible.
⚜The plot twist, in the end, was not expected of me, and I'm very happy because there are not a lot of books where I don't figure everything out.
⚜Maybe if I didn't read the description of the book, it would be even more interesting. But of course, I read 🙄.

➡I'm conclusion:
This book is my new favorite. I loved the characters and the story was interesting too, the plot twist was not expected and makes sense.
I'm OBSESSED with the vibe this book gives and with mysticism!

ENGLISH:
 ⭐4.5
At first, it looked like a typical 2000s book but when I reached 100 pages, it started to get interesting. I don't mean it like, something big: there wasn't a big plot twist, but it was cute and some part of me liked the drama.

The main character was interesting, and I liked that we could see her grow as a person. In the beginning, she was scared and didn't trust herself, and through that something is wrong with her.
But then, in the end, we can look at all the different person- she understood that others' opinion is not as important as herself, also she was able to find good in herself and even fight with her fairs, that she experienced before.

The main character's friend was not that likable to me like the main character. But I can understand him, so it's just me. Everything that he did wrong is clarified and justified after a while.

Also, it's a cute, story of love and a little bit of drama into that. I love the love interest and the relationship in this book.
OK so it was an easy read, with a little bit of drama, cute romance, and deep meaning, the internet can be dangerous and even if you are anonymous, you have to not forget to be careful with everything you post online.
Also, there is a lot of exercise for panic attacks, some life tips, and even more!

Everyone who liked book one can look for book two, it's out!

 LIETUVIŠKAI:
 ⭐4.5

Pagrindinės veikėjos draugas man nebuvo toks įdomus kaip pagrindinė veikėja.
Be to, tai miela, meilės istorija su šiek tiek dramos joje. Man labai patinka meilė ir santykiai šioje knygoje.

Be to, yra daug pratimų panikos priepuoliams, keletas gyvenimo patarimų ir dar daugiau!

Visi, kuriems patiko pirmoji knyga, gali ieškoti antrosios knygos, ji jau išleista!

OK. done.

I liked the idea of this book and the plot.
But I didn't like the idea of forcing people into numbers. If this doesn't go away in other series I will be VERY angry.

The writing? I can say it's not the best, but you know sometimes you need that cute, light story, to come out of the reading slump of just relax.
So the writing wasn't a problem, but if you're expecting a good writer's book with strong words and deep meaning...ehh

I read so many fighting scenes in books, that when enemies started to destroy a castle, I couldn't sit still, I wanted to go and fight, and I was disappointed. That didn't happen. But I can tell that America, the main character, is still very brave and I hope that she will fight in other series of the book.

I read too many books where mum is a bitvh and forces their daughters into something. Then cares just about that particular thing and nothing more. But this wasn't the most annoying thing. That mother was capable of calling her kid America. I'm telling you, this is the name. And you know was is a surname? Singer.
 America Singer.
Strangeeeee. I mean yea, these make sense, when they are explained, but at the same time, they are cringed.

Love interests? For me, there wasn't a love triangle, and I didn't like how America played with them.

☀️LIKED
 ☀️Prince Maxn and America
Especially I loved the relationship between America and Prince Maxn, they are amazing, funny and in my opinion, perfect for one another.
All they're teasing, hot comments like "I'm not you're dear" or the cute, funny moments like a secret signal that they need to talk with one another, also their friendship that is much more than that, everything, means so much to me...I loved Prince from the first second we meet him until last.

Now, before I forget, I need to say one very important thing.
 PRINCE MAXN MERRY ME.❤

Now we can go...

🌕DIDN'T LIKE
 🌕Aspen and America
First I liked Aspen, the cute little boy who comes into the tree-house to talk, kiss, and ble ble ble. I didn't like that he needed more. I understand that he was protective and all, but that's life, you can't be protective all the time especially when other people don't want you to be protecting. So everything looked normal, it was cute, with little not-so-good detail, but then, when comes to other love interests, I saw that America have much more chemistry with that one. And I don't like Aspen at all.
Knowing that he was the one who forced her into signing papers and then being not happy when another guy sees how incredible she is... Nah I don't like him. He shows up in her new life and confused her again.
But I respect him because he gives her a choice in the said and said that still will be fighting, and this is a damn good thing. Respect.

OK, that's it.
 Thanx

 SPOILERRRRRRRRRREEEEERRRRRRRRRRRR

OK HELO!
I'm so happy, that I read this book! And of course, I cried even when I knew that this bookend is tragic. But the crying wasn't that much it surprises me, that I was sadder when the guy with hats got crazy and not when Jest died. But I think this is because of the spoiler that I got. Spoilers did not help to read and enjoy this book.
But did I like it?
The beginning was really strange, that girl talked with cakes and cats, so I was not comfortable at that moment.

But then I kind of got to the point, where this thing didn't surprise me so much. And I just enjoyed the story.
I started to live there and not just read about that.

At first, I wanted what Catherine wanted: to have a bakery shop. But then...
 The king and the Joker...
I was absolutely, unconditionally in love with Jest, I loved his eyes and his smile with dimples, I liked his mysteries and the attention that he gave to Catherine... I loved practically everything, and was sad, because of the situation with King.
So I lived like characters in the book, not breathing in real life.

Character:
What I didn't like, was that Catherine played with Jest's heart, she got a lot of chances to change her decision, but always she chose family or friend or fever, but not him. Still promised even when she knew that it's hard to.

But I perfectly understand why she got so angry, sad, numb, cold-hearted, and just the cruel Queen. She lost the only this she cared about in life, even her dream of a bakery shop was tied up with him and she lost it. She knew that she will but she HERSELF decided to play with time, with fate, and of course, she lost. Then she got the blame on everyone except her, because that is what people in pain do, they can't blame themselves, because that is just too much to take. She got angry, then furious, and then just numb.

Plot:
Ple plot twist with different mirrors and other kingdoms was interesting and unexpected. I liked that a lot!
I think that's it! It was worth it and I'm happy that I read it!
