Bridget and Warren were one of my favorite parts of Maybe Someday so I was really excited for their story. However, this story really fell flat. All of the likable parts of the characters were gone and only the annoying parts were left. The sex scenes were very cringe and uncomfortable.

Sydeny did not attempt to communicate with Ridge in the best way, asking prying questions about his disability, and made Ridge accommodate to her rather than changing the way she communicated.

The side characters carried this story and everything else was just cringe. I am not a fan of the cheating trope in this book. Both main characters were really unrelatable and just kept making bad choices and then wondering why they were in bad situations. I was also incredibly frustrated with the fact that Sydney never bothered to learn sign language until the very end of the book. The use of phones and computers to communicate was really frustrating. Maggie and Warren deserved better!
