The tangents were a bit draining, and after a while I felt I gathered the gist of the unfinished research that was gathered in this book. It’s not a huge turn-off to me that it was quite unacademic and new age, because given, those categories have overlapped into science before. I just found it a bit repetitive and boring after a while.Â
I expected more, but was left disappointed and confused. The way this is written is quite scattered, no sense of organization. The writing seemed to be unnecessarily academic and challenging. Some decent concepts to mull over, however they were so drawn out and unraveled that it took away from the points made.Â
By far one of my favorite books I’ve ever read. This had it all for me personally; a flawed romance, philosophy, drama, complex characters, and a beautiful, bittersweet ending.Â
