It was cute, a cozy quick mystery. A little too much unnecessary dialogue for my taste but I absolutely see how the author was trying to use that to express their vision for the character

I would not recommend you to read this book unless you have studied art history. It is well researched and informative. Captures some historical drama and influences on the artist’s careers that Is entertaining. I recommend having a computer near by to look up paintings referenced in the book that are not printed on the pages

Romeo and Juliet retelling with magic, mostly well written fun and engaging, but some of the dialogue felt out of place and some of the magic went unexplained

<Spoiler> this book meant the world to me. Deeply human and healing. The authors mother had the same cancer that my mom had when I lost her at 16. I felt so seen and understood
