Read this book if you’re looking for: enemies to lovers, unlikely friendships, royal relationships, forbidden love, humor and witty banter

I’ll be honest, I’ve heard so many bookstagrammers gushing over this book and how great they thought it was that I had to give it a read (also add in the fact that I watched the preview for the movie adaptation and it looks REALLY good… 👀).
Let me just say that these people definitely know what they are talking about! While I wasn’t a super fan of the political parts (president’s son and queen’s grandson), the story kept me hooked, there were quite a few cute quotes, AND they mentioned Star Wars (I’m lookin at you nerds).
The characters are loveable, their family is supportive of their dreams (ie supportive siblings - I’ve got those!), and the book was very easy to get through.
I’d definitely recommend you read this BEFORE the movie comes out on August 11th on Prime 📚 🎥

Read this book if you’re looking for: unlikely friendship, coming of age, witty banter, age gap friendship,
I picked up this book just based on the blurb on the back and just figured I’d give it a shot. It is loosely based on a Thelma and Louise storyline but the twist is that the main characters are 21 and 84. They are on the run from something you don’t find out about until the very end. Throughout the story they end up teaching each other more than they ever thought possible. Not cheesy. Not hard to get through. I really enjoyed the perspective of Louise the 84yr old ‘on the run from the law’. It’s not a perspective you hear very often in books. Would definitely suggest this as a book to check out asap. I got mine from my local library!
