Wow. This book took me on a rollercoaster of emotions and I absolutely loved it!
Taylor Jenkins Reid writes a good book, and I found myself wanting all the characters to be real, specifically Evelyn Hugo so I could watch every one of her films, do a deep dive on her life and basically be obsessed with her!
This book had everything, from the diversity and representation to the writing quality and complex characters. Honestly wish I could forget this book and read it again for the first time!

I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook!
The story was captivating and all the characters were very likeable.
However, I wouldn’t categorise this as a true enemies to lovers story, and even after Shay and Dominic got over their dislike of each other in the workplace, I felt that their chemistry wasn’t 100% there.
This was a cute and fun romance to listen to and I was really pleased with the ending.

This book is so beautifully written and I loved every part of it.
The love story between Lucy and Susannah, set in Ireland in the early 90’s, reminded me of a Normal People meets Derry Girls crossover. The ending was bitter sweet and I’m choosing to believe that Lucy and Susannah got their happy ending.

After enjoying the Normal People tv series, I decided to give the book a go and honestly loved it even more. The book gave a whole other perspective, allowing the reader to understand the thoughts and feelings behind both Marianne and Connell. I, weirdly, also liked the lack of quotation marks as the writing felt more conversational and natural.
This book was honest, deep and heart wrenching, and as sad as the ending was, it’s also very realistic.

I bought this book at my local charity shop as the cover looked interesting, and judging a book by its cover has paid off with this one!
I loved this dark retelling of Beauty and The Beast mixed with Greek mythology. I really enjoyed the descriptive language and imagery, and the main protagonist, Nyx, was very likeable. The story is complicated, exciting, full of twists, and the ending was definitely worth it!

She wasn’t kidding when she said it was a masterpiece! The most messy, chaotic and honest memoir and I absolutely loved the audiobook, narrated by Julia Fox herself.
