While I do enjoy a good dark romance from time to time, this was just not it.
There just was no plot and in my opinion this was the dealbreaker for me here.
Even though I kind of felt sorry for Malachai because of his mental illness all of his behaviour was attributed to it but nobody ever does anything about it. Not even Olivia even after she says that this is a problem of his.

The idea behind it is not bad, but unfortunately as said it is missing the plot.

I heard very good things about the audiobook though and the snippets I listened to were amazing so maybe I will listen in on that someday.

This book, omg. I don't even know where to start.

It made me feel every emotion possible, I could not read it for a whole day because I was crying so much and just when I thought I was kind of over that the next blow came and I was crying all over again.
The love story is so beautiful and meaningful and in the end there are some lessons learned, that everybody should learn.

Life is short and something can happen everyday so make sure you live it to the fullest.

Also: Noah Riley, the man that you are...to be loved like this man loves Ari is something I would say everyone deserves.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 48%.
The writing style just is not for me.

It feels like this book could be much shorter but the author describes one thing that reminds her of another one and that reminds her of another one that she then explains for 20 pages.
Also Mirabelle was not likeable at all to me. She was ok in the beginning but especially after the first treatment I could not stand to read about her. I know that her transformation is part of the book but it was so difficult to read about it and I just don't have any reason to read the book further that I have.

Maybe I will pick it up again one day but definetaly not soon.

It has been a long time since I laughed that much over a book. Half a point added for making me laugh until I cried because one of the guys just straightup turned into a lump of dough xD
