Way too slow for an audiobook. The hardcover (which I’ve already read) is fantastic. This is just too long.

Not as practical as I would like, I.e, how to use AI step-by-step. But still enough practicality to make me a better user of AI. But it’s explanation of what’s possible with AI, how it works, and it’s pros and cons - all of this is excellent. Definitely worth a read if for no other reason than to be better informed about what is and might happen.

A little dated as far as examples are concerned. But the information is solid and the advice is still practical.

It’s a book that just doesn’t work as an audiobook. You need to read it and do the work as it’s presented to you.

Great book. But too dense for audio. Too many terms and acronyms that need reviewing and understanding in a print format.

Nasty, brutish, long… and necessary. Absolutely essential reading.

With a handful of exceptions, these laws are all neutral. It’s what you DO with them that determines whether you’re good or evil.

And even if you never wish to behave like some of the characters featured in this book, you need to understand how people like this operate.

Because the people in power (or seeking it) operate within these laws and will use them to manipulate YOU. (A certain former president under multiple indictments has made an art of Law 27: Play on people’s need to believe to create a cult-like following…)

Learn the laws…or ignore them at your own peril.

It takes a while to get started with this book. But after you hit the halfway point, you can’t stop reading. You have the very tension Seth writes about: “yes and??” “What next? Tell me!” It’s like a lightbulb goes off and your brain says, “of course! This all makes sense. Now I know what I need to start doing to make a meaningful contribution in my work and in life!”

This book needs to be read, not listened to. It does you no good to listen as you need to not only regularly act on the information, but you need to see it written down and be able to reference it on a regular basis.

Great book, very practical. Will read it again and get even more information to use in my daily life. Stoicism is a how-to manual for living a good (not easy) life. This book will help you get started.

Didn’t care for the narration. Don’t know why I didn’t like it this go around. The last book they co-wrote and read together I listened to in one sitting and LOVED it.
