I did not expect to like this as much as I did. An erotica with a heart. The writing is excellent (might have to actually use my kindle to read her other books) and I was so glad twitter recommended this to me!

If you loved Legends and Lattes, but wished there was a deeper relationship between the love interests and a bookshop, this is the book for you. It's adorable, has a bit more tension than L&L, and the paperback has a nice blue sprayed edge (I am a sucker for a sprayed edge). I am so excited to read the next one when it comes out in October! This is definitely a warm hug on a cold winters day.

This is a fun snapshot in the life type of comic. Very much a one shot, but its a good cleansing read.

So the information in this book is pretty base level, giving a very brief overview of queer characters and people through history. The first half focuses mainly on the greeks, and then the second is a mishmash of different cultures. It felt super long, and is a good jumping off point, but don't expect anything indepth.

I haven't read the original story that this is adapted from, but I really enjoyed this one. I found it to be the perfect length, and you could figure out what was going on if you payed even half attention.

I liked this story well enough. It could be a bit confusing at times. I will say I ran into the same problem with a lot of translated books, it felt like a piece of it was missing. Like there's some cultural aspect I'm not tuning into, making me feel a but disconnected. Overall though, a good read.

A very good read about hate, love, and the trauma of a race of people. I highly recommend going into this blind.

This was a read I didn't expect to like as much as I did. You could feel and connect with the characters and the situation they find themselves in. There was a printing mishap where pages 2 and 3 were switched, making it a bit confusing at first, but other than that a solid read.

This book really takes you on the journey of the narrators life. You feel for her disconnect, the community that gets fostered, and the isolation faced. The story answers no questions. And when it's done, it's done. The third act seemed to effect me the most, and I'm not really sure why.
