The main character is very much a gary stu that can do just about anything even as a boy. There is a very strange tone with women and even marks pedophilia or anything that points to it.
Either way it was a no. The writing style made zero sense too. Everything happens too quickly and jumbled up

This is a tough read and definitely not for everyone.
This book is about the effects grooming has on the mc, projecting onto other victims, and insisting that she, herself, hasn't been a long term victim.
It delves into the grooming of a 15 year old up to her current years as 32. It delves into the horror of how an adult and a teacher at that can take advantage of someone so young. It was uncomfortable and downright tragic knowing the things he was doing was so self centered and manipulative it impacts Vanessa in so many ways...

The 3 is a nice gesture but overall im disappointed with the book.
If you need to rely on DID to add to your horror/thriller as a non DID haver then the story is null. There are parts where it even romanticizes the concept of DID. It was uncomfortable to read. It was obvious that author was infatuated with this disorder despite interviewing DID havers. It feels like this whole novel wasn't ran through them and labeled as a gift for the community.
Upsetting this has literally been broadcasted as a horror/thriller disturbing novel on booktok and reviews despite it being said its "not"

I was very engulfed with the story since it was up my interest. The starking difference with the novel was very eye opening!
This is so nicely written and the fact diagrams and codes were utilized it felt so real and something that woukd happen today.

A very fun time! The shift was quick to bleak that it felt like a false safety for the beginning half that you forget this is extreme horror.

Characters felt one dimensional, i did not care for the description of how sexy a woman id and being like i wouldnt cheat. Very very unsmart decisions. I don't have any sympathy for these characters maybe if they expanded more on them. I keep forgetting who's who very easily
