it's an excellent apocalypse story from a nonhuman creature's perspective. there are lots of stories from different kinds of people with different types of experiences. i hated but also loved a lot of scenes. but what I loved the most about this is how the author managed to create and add some funny scenes; even the mc's seriousness sometimes brings joy to the story. although I was a little confused about its worldbuilding and had left me with a lot of questions about how the apocalypse exactly started; even the characters doesn't know how the abysses came into life and where they come from. the author just left it as it is. probably to prove that there will always be things that human beings will never come to know. but for an apocalypse, it doesn't have that much action so for some that would like to read this: the story is more concerned about human emotions and experiences. i might also just add that this has SOME similarities to "little mushroom", another story about a nonhuman creature's journey to learn about humankind.

there's a lot of plotholes and the ending feels kinda rush. i love all the characters and the villains' made me analyze their behavior a bit. in overall, the story is entertaining, just dont expect too much details (⁠｡⁠ŏ⁠﹏⁠ŏ⁠) though it still made me realize a lot about kindness.

the plot is quite confusing but its definitely a new for me.

the beginning of their world is intriguing for me, when they were just a ball of mist

there are some questions im left with which i didnt pursue anymore since this was supposed to be a fluff type of novel, not a drama and action one. the characters are good but not the best and i actually learn a one and two things from them so thats a plus. it also kept me entertained and trope is also one of my fav ╮⁠(⁠＾⁠▽⁠＾⁠)⁠╭
