The title needs to be renamed to: Obi-Wan babysits, and he is not happy about it.

I listened to the audiobook version of this in the car and the sound effects alone had me invested in the story. It was fun to hear lightsaber sounds and music from the actual movies in the background as the narrator read. The story itself was tense and interesting and I can’t wait to see when the bad guy shows up again. Jude Watson always does an excellent multi-book story arc and I’m excited to see what trouble she has cooked up for Anakin and Obi-Wan.

This book was like a warm hug. It had a strong theme of found family and finding a place where you belong. All through the book, Tao feels out of place and comes to terms with who she is as an immigrant and to open herself up to trust people and allow herself to trust and rely on others in return. This book had me laughing and crying throughout its beautifully written pages. Its exactly what one needs to cheer themselves up when they are feeling blue.

A cute Christmas book inspired by The Holiday movie where two women switch houses for the holiday season. Both Clover and Bee were fun characters and the romance was not too dramatic or over the top. All in all a fun holiday read.

This book is not at all what I was expecting. The plot was what drew me to this book but after the first few chapters it fell flat. The characters were terrible and shallow, with barely any backstory to them. The romance was nonexistent with no chemistry between the supposed couple. Not to mention the world building, which had no history to the land or any other magic users besides the main character who could bring back the dead. This book was a complete disappointment and I am not even considering reading the second book.

Another great book in this series. Though it was a little slow at times and part of me wishes that the plot didn’t take Reyna and Kianthe away from their home town. But another part appreciated that we got to see other parts of this fantasy world Thorne created. All in all it was a fun book filled with adventures, pirates, and puns. I just really missed that the tea/book shop wasn’t in it much.
