it was just very light read! spoiler, 'wag bubuksan kung 'di pa nabasa, balakajan! both of the protagonist started their path in a messy way, ghosting phase, then fl starts (unknowingly) a relationship with the ml's roommate, fl breaks up with the guy because she's not really feeling it, she rekindles a friendship with ml, it doesn't work out because it's their first time and they started fwb when they first met, aaaaand as for the ending, the scene reenacts their first meeting and starts over again for a relationship—but now in a healthy way.
as an nbsb girlie, this gave me insights on having first relationship. it really does take a lot of work and experience. love should make you feel alight, not anxious! it takes trust and faith.

sky was a brat adult before, but throughout the marriage her perception towards the world and career changed, as the reason why is royce betraying her father while conspiracing with lavender. she's strong-headed and persistent until she gets what she wants. i like that she is the one who drove the story until the end, i just love character-driven stories! and so far, royce is the green flag for me. he doesn't push or make shit excuses to harass the female lead, lmfao.

binasa ko lang talaga ito for reading slump.
the characters were fine, but they weren't loveable. it's hard to be fond of the author's characters. the way Leandro liked Chayo at an early age made me agitated and uncomfortable, but at least he didn't initiate anything. it's just so weird how Leandro reacts to Chayo's romantic relationships and the author's description of him (eg. he looked at me darkly) like dude. . . but i liked Kuya Levi and that's all.
the plot is just bland. just leaves me with distaste.
EDIT (05/08/23): WAAAIT, hold up. ang weird talaga kasi college na si Leandro kaya probs nasa 20s na siya??? (xori 'di ko po maalala!) tapos nasa JHS palang si Chayo!!! ahahahaha overthink lang kasi may similar problematic plot na grooming siya sa ibang story. and i just re-read pov ni Leandro, it's so weird.

Academic pressure by parents who had unfulfilled dreams does creates a big fissure until the breaking point. Parents projects their child into filling the empty space of their own future by making them the one who is filling it. It was heartbreaking to see Hamin hearing his brother saying that he wanted him to disappear, when he'd spent his all life keeping up his existence because someone expects him.
I bet he just wanted to hear his parents to apologize to him.
