I was mostly just reading it to have something to pass the time at work and wasn’t super into it to begin with. The writing was okay, but I didn’t see myself loving the book from the beginning so I wasn’t going to put myself through finishing it when there are other books I want to read more.

I wanted to like it and finish it so bad but I just had a hard time getting into it. I really like the idea of Beckett but just couldn’t get into the story that much. Maybe I’ll finish it someday, but it probably won’t be anytime soon.
