I was lucky enough to get an eArc of this book and ended up loving it as much or maybe even a bit more than This Hallowed Accord! ๐
I donโt have enough words to accurately describe how much I love this series, the characters and the plot twists that made me cry, blew my mind or had my heart racing. ๐ฉท
After that cliffhanger in the end of THA, I was eager to learn more! In THR we got some answers but we also got more secrets and twists that had me gripping the edge of my seat through most of the book.
I had so many theories of how things would go, but most of the time I was just scared and waiting for other shoe to drop. I loved it. It was extremely hard to put this book down and if I had the chance, I would have read this in one sitting.
Having multiple POVโs was absolutely delicious. I loved Kor in THA, but it was so much better to get a peak inside his head. ๐ค๐ผ๐ซ ๐ซ
And what about our beloved Shadow and Maz? There is so much Iโd like to say about them. So much pain and love between these two. So much baggage. But, I donโt want spoil things for you, so Iโm just going to share one of my favorite quotes:

This was a little boring compared to the first book. I felt that the storyline was much more linear in the first one. I felt that half of the book went trying to figure out what was really happening and where. ๐
