Emily Klepp’s books always break my heart and put it back together again. Watch Her Bend was no different! I was excited to read about Dax after getting a glimpse of him in the previous book. I loved the patient/doctor relationship that Dax and Ari had. They built such a strong relationship without even trying before they acted on their feelings. Ari’s story was heart breaking and terrifying. I feel like Emily writes about these difficult topics so accurately and so realistically. Dex was working through his own healing journey and together, Ari and Dax meshed beautifully. I was not expecting Luca but enjoyed the additional dynamic he brought in as well. I love the endings Emily always gives her characters - after suffering so much they deserve to actually feel free. Check for TWs - this can be a dark and heavy topic to read about - happy reading!

This book had me on the edge of my seat the entire time I read it. Elliott Rose mixed so many amazing elements into this story and wrote it perfectly. The characters and their personalities were amazing - they were all so different but fit together so beautifully. We had a good about of their past lives sprinkled in so we could see why they were the way they were but not too much that it felt like it dragged on. The plot was so dang good - mysterious, twisted, dark, secretive, funny, and spicy (like tons!)! There were parts I did NOT see coming and I love a storyline that can do that! Fox, Ky, Ven, Thorne meshed together so well. They each brought something so different to their relationship that it just felt natural. The spice was hot. I mean… perfect. No such thing as too much. Highly recommend, read the TW - this is a darker romance! Happy reading!

Ugh, this book broke my heart and put it back together. Zander and Amara are pin pals while he is in prison and she is in a very abusive relationship. Amara goes through it… all of it and she is so dang strong. I mean jeez. Zander is trying to be the best person for her while still giving her what she wants and needs in a relationship. I loved the added mystery and twists of this story. It had me on the edge of my seat. I definitely enjoyed how this story ended but highly recommend you read the TW. This was a dark and graphic story - it has a happy ending but man it takes some stuff to get there!

Ari and Dash have been friends forever. Their families were always together and Ari has always had a crush on Dash. After an embarrassing moment with Dash when they were young, Ari vows to hate Dash forever. Dash is a successful actor but can’t get past a bump in his career. During Dash’s visit home for his brother’s wedding he and Ari decide to leave the past in the past and be friends. When “just friends" becomes "just once" and turns into “just right now” will they develop strings or be able to let each other go when Dash goes back to Hollywood!?

Melanie Harlow did it again, I absolutely loved Ari and Dash. I sometimes have a hard time relating to the actor trope but Dash is so down to earth. Ari and Dash were hilarious together, the chemistry was off the charts, and their relationship was so sweet. I literally cried, laughed, and swooned (and everything in between). I loved how Ari was so self aware and didn’t necessarily disagree with what Dash did but was more embarrassed. I also loved her dedication to her family and town. Dash showed so much emotional growth, and really matured during his time home. I loved seeing the brothers again and the addition of papa Buckley’s story, ugh, 🥺. This book had it all and I loved every second of it!!
