I thought that Lumberjanes was a nice graphic novel to read while taking a break from reading chapter books. The adventures of the girls were refreshing and honestly, pretty funny! I also enjoy the LBGT+ representation shown through Mal and Molly!

This book holds a special place in my heart. On the last day of school in my 8th-grade year, my substitute teacher gave me this book. She told me this is her favorite book on the journey of writing, and felt that I would grow to love it too. I really did grow to love this book. There are so many quotes in this book (from other authors) that just resign with you. I honestly cannot put into words how much this book means to me. If you enjoy writing as much as I enjoy it, this is certainly a book for you.

Honestly there's not much to say about this little "dictionary" of made-up words. It was cute and all, but I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as I thought I would when I picked it up at Five Below.

I really loved this graphic novel/memoir! I have been meaning to read Spinning for nearly a year and I was sooooo excited to see that my local library had it in their YA section. It was such a quick read I was surprised that I was able to finish it in really no time at all. Spinning is a memoir of Tillie Walden, a former ice dancer in her childhood, coming to accept being a lesbian as well as just trying to grow up and find out what she truly wants out of life. I highly, HIGHLY recommend this for anyone who wants a quick but memorable read.
