Neville getting those 10 points are just as emotional in the book as it was in the movie.

Okay, but why was this so sad? I was expecting this cutesy YA romance, instead I got an emotional YA romance that really tried to make me cry. It was cute and better than I expected but I rated it the way I have because I think I have read better. If it would have actually made me cry I would have rated it higher.

While this wasn’t bad it was great either. Nothing truly happened in this book until the last maybe 15% of it. And at that point I was kind of checked out. All it did was make sense of how things were the way they were but there just weren’t any factors that truly captivated me throughout to keep my attention and have me love the book.

This book will not be for everyone. I have had this book for forever and have only just now have read it. It was incredibly sad and depressing but the message is amazing. This is a religious historical fiction story. So like I said not a normal book I read and it’s not for everyone. But I actually really enjoyed the story. It made me feel so many different things and I have found out there is a movie about it which is something I’ll have to watch as well. And if the storytelling is only half as beautiful as in the book I think it’ll be so good.

This was, and no surprise here, incredibly adorable. Hannah’s books are always amazing and am guaranteed to love the characters, laugh out loud, and swoon at the romance. This was so fun just like the first book was with a really unique concept that Hannah incorporates so well into the story. It’s so good and I highly recommend for y’all to read this book but every one of Hannah Bonam-Young’s books.

So I want to start this off by saying that this book is dark, and covers very disturbing topics. I know I have a spice rating to the book but that was for the consensual scenes between the main characters and not the other things that occur in the book.
But this was a lot and while I really liked it, it was also a lot to take as well. It’s very twisty and seeing how this web of action, decisions, and reactions have cause this plot to play out was insane. Every part of it was crazy and I enjoyed the reading experience and if you are okay with what could occur in this book I would recommend it for you to read.

Abby, hi I’m one of your new biggest fans! Absolutely obsessed with this book and I really predicted I would like this more than Part of Your World. The storyline of this was really strong and until the end it was ahead but ultimately decided to keep them level. I do understand having some miscommunication but how extensive this one was did become a little too much. But like I said the characters in the book it made sense to have some. But I really liked this book and I’m so excited to read more of Abby’s books soon!

I still haven’t been able to decipher if I liked this book or what. I think I liked it, it was interesting for sure. There was a book I read earlier this year that I thought would be like this and it wasn’t and I didn’t really like it. This was what I was wanting. What I didn’t know because I went into it blind was the suspenseful aspect to it. That was unexpected but interesting. Overall it was a good book and all the descriptive words about it are pretty accurate at least from my reading experience.

So I went into this one with no expectations and that was probably the best thing that could have happened with this book. This was another one that I didn’t like the characters. But the biggest thing was there was too much spice that it affected the plot for me. Because the little bit of plot that was here felt convoluted because of the amount of spice that nothing really made sense. I’ve said it in the past but Ali has a way of making me feel not the smartest because of the science in her books and I actually enjoyed that. But this was different and I didn’t really liked it. And the other smaller piece that didn’t play hugely into the plot was UT. I’m a born Aggie fan and while it’s so fun seeing Texas being in here it was like every five seconds it was said and it actually got annoying. But I know it played into that plot but between my dislike for the characters, the mass amount of spice it just all went downhill from there.

So I have officially read all of N.S. Perkins books that are currently released. I did put this off because I didn’t know how I was going to feel about the time travel aspect added to this book. But it’s N.S. Perkins and if I was going to give it a chance for anyone it would be for her. I liked it but didn’t love it like some of Perkins other books. The miscommunication ran a little long for me and every time something would come out it would be a new piece of information that wasn’t there before. It felt like a lot in the little that was here. But I liked the characters individually and think their story was interesting it was just hard to find a balance in all that was going in the book in less than 300 pages.
