A really great memoir about body acceptance and self care in the age of dieting, youth obsession, and one-size-fits-all

Can't believe I waited this long for this book to rip my heart out and feed it back to me.

Absolutely lovely, a super charming read with great art direction and interesting worldbuilding. "Comfy horror" may be a good way to describe it, saddling the divide between monsters lurking in the shadows waiting to consume you vs finding the softer and maybe even sweeter aspects of them. Definitely a good read if you're looking for something cute but different.

Really liked it! The take on DND-esque adventurers and dungeons as an ecology is super cool and the main characters were very likable.

Gonna be honest, I"m not sure how literally I was supposed to take most of this. I felt like I'd missed half the plot and wasn't sure if it was meant to be taken literally or metaphorically. The art is very good though.
