Easy to follow along but the ending didn’t explain anything.

i ate this up. the writing was perfectly paced, and i think with all the different POVs it kept me guessing about what’s going on. i never guessed the twist (though in hindsight i feel like i could have put it together). loved this, can’t wait to read more of her work.

this one really gives you a glimpse into the ups and downs of someone’s life - especially in such a difficult circumstance. all the feels were felt.

This book is a freaking masterpiece. I’m so ready for book 2. So well written, and a fantastic plot.

Not my cup of tea. However, the book is certainly not lacking drama. I did the kindle version, and I did not love the formatting of this. There were also quite a lot of typos. This is nothing against the author as this is her first publication so there could be a variety of factors playing into these things. I would have to compare to the paperback for true feedback on format.
Overall, the plot was good but I don’t think it was executed well. It was busy and a little all over the place. But it was definitely not short on the drama, I will give it that.  Also, given I am not in the age demographic represented here, I’m surprised at how much I related to the FMC.

I wanted to like this but it was so hard to get into. So slow paced, and when things did happen, it happened all at once, then not at all, then all at once. I wanted more from it. Cute plot, but could have been executed better.

Honestly, I expected more. It was a good book, but I feel like it didn’t really start getting consistently good until around 80% in.

I was really enjoying this book & anticipated a higher rating but the ending disappointed me. It was a great plot though & it was fun trying to connect everything.

I didn’t see the twist coming but it felt… right? Some actions by characters make you think “why wouldn’t they just do this” but I guess that’s the point. To understand the sensitivity of the human psyche.

Very cute, but maybe a tad anticlimactic? Also had to keep reminding myself that Thanksgiving is in fact in October in Canada
