The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain

This is a slow-paced novel simply about a boy's childhood. There is a plot, though it's not too high-stakes, nor is it the main subject of the book. It's a good read, easy and calm.

This book did an amazing job building a vivid world, story, and characters. I truly felt close to these people and I want to travel with them once more.  It's a gripping novel, with even the mundane being made interesting to read about. The innuendos and story twists were clever and I hadn't suspected what would happen next.

While reading this book I'd describe my anger at it, how mad and upset it made me, but I was still captivated by this story and the people within. I'm glad I read it, the ending was so satisfying, one of the best I've seen, it's fantastic. I will say it's not for people who can't handle tough and awful topics. I wouldn't recommend it, read at your own risk.

I don't mean to be rude, however, it must be said. This book was simply boring. Maybe it's just not for me, maybe someone else would enjoy it. I hadn't.

Loved the book and would've given it all the stars in the world but the ending was awfully disappointing. The story and the idea were amazing, genuinely one of the most creative plots I've read. This book though felt unfinished, and I am truly conflicted.

This book has a lot of setting up and twists, I would say the story could be condensed, more should happen. Some things were frustrating at times as well.
This is still a good book to read if you want something to pass the time.
Not bad AT ALL, but not great.
