I enjoyed this one way more than the first two books from “Off-Campus” but only toward the last 100 pages or so. The constant swearing and talking about sex just takes away from the plot and makes it feel more like Wattpad. However, Dean ended up being really cute when they eventually got together and
the twist was gut wrenching to read. I was not expecting that but it definitely bumped up the rating as it gave it more depth and an incredible ‘oh shit’ moment

Bit of a slow start but once you get through the first 5 chapters and get used to lengthy chapters, it is so worth it. The tension was palpable and the ending - so good.

As much as their internal monologues were depressing, the development and the ending was so worth it. Read when you’re in an okay - good headspace and read the trigger warnings beforehand. <3

So close to 5 stars. Has the coho vibes but wasn’t as impactful as “ugly love” and the mc annoyed me at times. Love this book but it’s missing that extra 0.25% coho. I think my expectations were too high so it just missed the mark.
