A very fun and well-written book about how a dating show can go wrong. I do wish the
Spoilerape part was a little more clear, as I didn’t understand if it was the woman in the letters, or someone in an ape suit?

I thought the poems were decently written, but they certainly feel like a new poet. I think the author has real promise, I related more to her poems when they used more ethereal language and less fact based (your Jeep, YouTube, etc).

I really enjoyed this memoir, it was heavier than I expected and told lots of secrets about Mormonism. I appreciated her writing about feeling conflicted with her faith and who she “really” is.

I really enjoyed this story set in the 90’s of a college senior, finding herself, and living with unclear boundaries in her relationships. Emotional, I could feel the yearning with every word. Stunning! Great on audio.

I was able to “get” these poems, they weren’t so wordy like others! Very well done.

A really lovely tribute to a long time friend who died by suicide.

I really loved the perspective, told by a 9 year old girl. It was so insightful and raw, your heart just broke for Kit. But I loved her grit and resolve, passed down by her grandmother, mother, and aunts and uncles.  It showed the horrors of residential schools for Native children and how religion can be a tool for evil. I liked that the ending was open-ended.
