Gigi is off to gorgeous Hawaii to attend her sister’s wedding. Unfortunately, her ex-boyfriend is the best man, accompanied by his stunning, famous influencer girlfriend. In a spontaneus decision, Gigi claims she will be bringing a mystery man to the wedding, who, in reality, does not exist. This tropical Romantic Comedy whisks us away on a luxurious getaway as Gigi attempts to find her ideal fake date! This delightful read had me chuckling and cringing with secondhand embarrassment at times! A perfect summer read that does not disappoint, as always, from the talented Portia Macintosh!

This book was such a page turner and kept me in suspense to the very end. It was unpredictable and kept me on the edge of my seat until the very last page. Just when you think you know what happens, here comes a surprise you weren’t expecting. I highly recommend this book to anyone that loves a good thriller. Well done Michaelides.
